Maiden who made history with the first all-female crew in the Whitbread Round the World Race in 1990 is returning to the UK.
We would like to invite you to come and see Maiden being off-loaded in the Solent after her journey from the Seychelles; meet some of the original crew who will be reunited on this occasion and hear about the exciting plans that will happen after she has been restored to her former glory.
The container ship with Maiden on-board is currently scheduled to arrive on Sunday 23 April when Maiden will be unloaded in the Solent and towed to Hamble Yacht Services. Maiden skipper, Tracy Edwards MBE and some of the original crew will be in attendance. The offloading will either be on Sunday 23 or Monday 24 April and we will confirm day and time by Wednesday 19 April.
